I'm not a technical person, but it seems like there will be a good bit of resistance in #cotton in that 72-76 cent range. But it would be a lot better to be in that range than where it has been. It just needs to consistently break back into that range...and soon.

No. It's not "good economics." Price controls have two possible outcomes: 1. The control is above the market price and therefore ineffective and political window dressing, or 2. Shortages. There are no other realistic outcomes. Lipstick on a pig doesn't make the kiss cleaner.
