I saw the "million man march" crew at Parliament. They were off by about five zeros. And the ones who were there got totally freaked out by the queer and trans youth who showed up. As always, when confronted bullies turn to snowflakes.

All week the race haters stood outside parliament threatening people and insulting Indigenous legislators. They had a free ride from Ottawa Police. Then Jagmeet Singh stood up to them. And today young queer and trans kids put the run on them. No pasaran. Happy September 20.

Politicians should be paying attention to what happened yesterday. Despite the rage baiting, despite the misinformation, despite how easy it is to fear difference, bigotry was easily outnumbered across Canada. Even in the western provinces. Transphobia is not gaining traction.
