Animals from today’s transport in the path of Hurricane #Dorian have safely arrived at our amazing shelter & rescue partners! The adoptable animals will continue their journeys to forever homes with the help of SAFE Haven & Humane Society of Charlotte.

Approximately 400 wildlife patients from South Florida Wildlife Center have been relocated to foster homes for the duration of #HurricaneDorian. This morning, SFWC veterinarian Dr. Renata Schneider treated this young ibis in her home. Her two children were glad to assist! ❤️

Hurricane Dorian’s path continues to move away from Florida’s east coast, but high winds & rain will impact Central Florida. The Southeast Region will monitor the storm & will decide Wed. whether the office will remain closed or will open later. Kudos to our amazing staff!
