something was familiar about him. he couldn’t put his finger on what it was—
but he knew he didn’t look like a good guy.
“ uhm— “
a pause. “ you don’t seem like a good guy.. “
taking a step closer.
“ wait— you’re that guy! what was your name.. bullshead.. no.. bullseye! “
cue a shrug of his shoulders.
“ your spidey costume! “
a chuckle, taking a couple steps closer to further observe the suit.
“ almost like mine just- brighter! “
turning his head slightly in confusion.
“ do— “
“ nobody seems to grasp the concept of the mask.. “
a small chuckle to himself.
circling the spider on his chest with his finger.
“ come on man.. I’m spiderman! who are you..? “
a long pause. then a laugh.
“ you almost had me! “
clapping now, he got an idea.
he went silent.
“ think fast! “
and he’d quickly shoot a web at the other.
he didn’t expect the backflip. definitely caught him off guard.
he too sensed the web and when it flew toward him, he hinged his legs to go into a limbo position to dodge it.
when he came back to his feet, a brief pause.
“ how did you— “
taking a step closer.
turning his head he’d slowly walk closer. they were now only about two feet apart.
“ you’re.. like me. “
he chuckled to himself. looking over his suit.
“ nice c- suit! nice suit.. it looks comfortable. “
hands up, not offense meant to be put out there.
“ hey, I corrected myself. “
a small nod at the cocoon joke.
“ I guess one day we’ll have to see who can make a better cocoon. “
shrugging his shoulders now.
“ should we like- get pizza or something? “
“ awesome! “
he’d web zip to the wall behind the other, now in his crawling pose.
“ race you there? “
with that, he vaulted off the wall, shooting a web.
𝙏𝙃𝙒𝙄𝙋!
and with that, he was off to Leo’s pizza.
he felt the gaze of the other. turning his head, he’d look at the other with curiosity on his face. obviously unable to be seen with the mask on.
“ uh.. are you okay? “
he was in his crawling pose on a wall, watching the other. with her question he nods.
“ your friendly neighborhood spiderman. “
he’d get up now, back against the wall, legs under him and one hand sticking to the wall.
“ and you are? “
“ oh.. “
he said in a whisper, shifting slightly so it was more comfortable.
“ i get it man.. being spiderman is exhausting. take all the time you need, friend. “
shaking his head slightly.
“ no, no don’t be sorry. “
a soft chuckle, relaxing now as well.
“ like I said, I get it. it’s exhausting. sometimes it’s nice to get a little bit of rest. and most of the time it’s rare to get a window open to rest. “
