Year 4 have been learning about how ancient civilisations built settlements along rivers for fertile ground. They built Ancient Sumerian irrigation systems out of playdough and pipe cleaner crops to apply their learning! Palladian Academy Trust

Fascinating visit to the excellent Combe Down Primary School today as part of an inter-Trust Disadvantaged Strategy review. The use of Voice 21 Oracy was exceptional, as was the adaptive teaching across the school. Hope to bring leaders from Leaf Trust to see it soon.
