Last night, in Cupar, the OC C, Major Graeme H welcomed the new Sqn Sgt Maj into post, WO2 Jock M, who will now assume the role of SSM C.

Additionally, he presented Sgt Chris N his commanders badge, having now qualified technically and tactically as a Lt Cav Comd.

This #weekend our team have been dry training and conducting simulated anti armour contacts in the Dismounted Close Combat Trainer with the NLAW.

The Next generation Light Anti Armour Weapon is a shoulder launched single use weapon for neutralising armour.

As we head into the #weekend , our #team move down to Wales, where on arrival they begin their attempt at the Cambrian Patrol.

The event, heralded as the British Army’s premier patrols competition, is conducted annually near Brecon, in Wales.

Being the first team from the Regiment to complete the event and one of only 10 Reserve teams this year, makes the prize much sweeter.

Huge congratulations to all the team and the training team 🐺

Working under the callsign H10B, they covered 40 miles through the hills and lakes of Brecon as they took on the British Army’s premier patrol competition, and secured a bronze medal for their efforts.
