The Newport, "America's longest continuously running rock club", has an extremely notable list of alumni. Including its Agora era, it welcomed Queen, Rush, Metallica, U2, The Ramones, Snoop Dogg, X, Patti Smith, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Iggy Pop and thousands more to Columbus.

Before it was the Wexner Center, it was the OSU Armory, hosting everything from basketball to military drills. The building was damaged in a fire and demolished in the 50s. Now, echoes of the Armory remain in the castle-like turrets that surround it. #InternationalMuseumDay
