After a seven-year hiatus, Elaine Mahabir is back on the sidelines for the Midland Chemics girls basketball team. Mahabir previously spent 16 years with the program, helping the Chemics win 3 district titles and one regional championship. In 2014, she was the D1 Coach of the Year.
