At Colorado Principled Physicians we believe that true tolerance respects the freedom of those who think differently.  It does not protect opinions and ideologies, but the persons who hold them, and their freedom to hold them—even if one considers their convictions wrong.

Free speech and open dialogue are essential—especially in medicine. We learn by listening, even to views we oppose. The answer to bad speech isn’t censorship, it’s better speech.

Doctors MUST participate in free speech—even if we sometimes get our feelings hurt. Medicine is unsafe without free speech. Who is going to point out the emperor has no clothes, if free speech is punished?

Human beings have reasonable expectations that others should not kill or harm them. At Colorado Principled Physicians, we believe in upholding this fundamental value. As Hippocrates advised, physicians should practice two things: either help the patient or do not harm him.

We uphold a Classical Liberal worldview where truth matters. Science and clinical decisions rely on reality. In medicine, truth can be hard to find—so we lead with honesty, humility, and caution where uncertainty reigns.

I grew up admiring doctors who were smart, thought for themselves, and put the patient first. I love meeting the real ones at Colorado Principled Physicians. The opposite of the embarrassment of “solidarity” around obvious lies, delusions, and power games like DEI and gender harming kids.

We support Classical Liberal values—the foundation of the American experiment. Rooted in life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness, they enable diverse people to flourish. No other system has proven more practical, enduring, or just.

Civil rights—freedom of thought, speech, religion, privacy, and safety—are essential to human flourishing. These classical liberal values protect dignity and autonomy. When governments or institutions suppress them, our profession cannot faithfully serve humanity.

Free speech is the healthy immune system of an organization. Many medical orgs shut down free speech so a few doctors could shove through crazy, harmful, activist ideas like pediatric sex trait modification. Without an immune system, disease can’t be destroyed from the inside.

No one should be forced to believe, say, or do anything against their will. Coercion through threats to life, liberty, or livelihood has no place in medicine. This is the essence of rights of conscience.

That’s our guy!

WPATH isn’t a medical organization. Americans need real medicine. That really works. Not activism like “gender medicine.”
