SEL game strong!

We had an ocean-themed day today where we drew our own manatees, made our own starfish, and more…including learning what a dugong is! These students are so amazing!

We tried our luck with some book tasting today ☘️

We practiced some life skills today & the students brought their A game! So impressed with these All Stars! Thank you Dr Tiffany Bunn, Dana Shool, Mrs. Michel & Ms. Wolfe for stepping up as stations so that we could do this activity. Thank you Tony Gomez for collaborating w/me ⭐️

I was able to spend 2 days with these amazing scholars while they started their research on their African American Studies topics! Can’t wait to see their final presentations!

Mrs. Reyes and Ms. McCohn brought their classes in today for some creative expression as well as some calming activities 🌟 We had some students find their creative side today even though they were sure they didn’t have one!

Students conquered the longest Breakout of the year with flying colors! Every single group completed this TWO HOUR Breakout and Campus Scavenger Hunt activity 🎉 So impressed with these students perseverance and critical thinking.

We did some multisensory learning of zoos and zoo animals today in celebration of National Zoo Lovers Day (which was on April 8th). Check out these phenomenal creations!
