Hello friends! Been awhile since I have posted. Watched some news and saw job growth is very strong and inflation is coming down. Even FOX NEWS is reporting it. Biden's policies are working. I knew they would.

It just dawned on me that I didn't come across one Trump-related article, while drinking my morning coffee and reading my newspapers. What a way to start the day! Happy Friday, friends!

About one year ago, Gov. Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick bragged about historic budget surpluses. Now they’re forcing school districts all over Texas to face massive budget deficits and closures It isn't incompetence. They’re out to destroy public education.

Public funds are for public schools! Vouchers are a rip off. Certain folks in Austin need to be reminded of that.

I fought hard for Texas public education because I could see the disaster that was coming. And boy it's coming. We need new leadership in Texas who actually supports our public schools and teachers!

"Conservative" means, among other things, conserving the rule of law. Based on their reactions to the jury verdict from yesterday, Abbott, Paxton, and Patrick insult conservatives when they attribute it to themselves.

The State of Texas has a record budget surplus. However, we are still seeing school funding per student in Texas fall. Our schools have been starving for funding. The intent to harm and diminish public education is Texas by our state leadership is on full display.

School districts in the Houston area are slammed with $850 million in deficits just months after Governor Abbott announced huge state budget surpluses. Folks, this crisis is by design.

Too many of our fellow Texans are still sitting in a hot, humid house without power after Hurricane Beryl. We need to hear real solutions from Dan Patrick and others in leadership on how we will fix the damn grid. No more political deflections and squabbles.

Very sad to learn that Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has left us. I admired her passion for her constituents and for our country. It was an honor to know her and campaign with her. We've lost one of the great ones.

The irony is palpable, the hypocrisy infuriating.

I trusted the judgement of Joe Biden four years ago and I trust it today. I am very grateful for the service he rendered our country. Now we turn our attention to winning this November and we will due to the remarkable progress under his leadership. Thank you, Joe.

Not surprising to see Dan Patrick melt down in the face of Joe Biden's patriotism and love for his country. He will never grasp the concept of integrity.

This is Dan Patrick's endorsed candidate for president stating there will be no more democratic elections if he is re-elected. I don't expect Dan to denounce this anti-American rhetoric. I just hope my fellow Texans understand that our democracy is on the line this November.

I've been in the business world a long time and can tell when something is fishy. Despite his pandering to the crypto folks, Trump's comments on Bitcoin makes it clear he knows little about it. As an old auditor, something doesn't smell right. It's time for an honest discussion.

Sound judgement makes for sound leadership, which our nations needs now more than ever. Looks like Kamala Harris has made a very sound judgement in selecting Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate. A teacher, a military man, a patriot. This is a very good day for the United States!

Trump favors his wealthy donors over the heroic men and women of the US Military. He has called soldiers killed in war "losers" and "suckers." He disparaged John McCain’s heroism. Trump doesn't respect their sacrifices. He never will. This is among the reasons I oppose him.

Couldn't agree more, Tim Walz! Public school teachers are formidable.

You can’t downplay this. Donald Trump is incapable of respecting anything... Not even the sacred ground of the Arlington Cemetery and its rules. He has disrespected our fallen soldiers far too many times.
