I spent 16 years in politics trying to stop Iran’s march to the bomb. When I see former colleagues from Congress claim last night’s strikes weren’t justified because Iran wasn’t days away from a deliverable nuclear weapon, I’ve got to respond - as the former Chair of the

As a life-time journalist, it breaks my heart that this is true. Reading the NYT has become a painful experience except usually the wedding announcements.

The Times wrote a piece about how it would be bad for universities to apply ideological litmus tests when hiring faculty. But they very clearly already do that! New from me: jessesingal.substack.com/p/oh-man-imagi…

“We are going to ensure the new guidelines are based on science, not medical dogma.” For decades, saturated fat was vilified based on flawed science and institutional groupthink. Now, the FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary is citing the very research I spent years unearthing. For

🚨 If I were a lawyer, I would consider suing the US Dietary Guidelines. According to federal law, the Guidelines must serve the “general public.” But it has no option for the 88% of U.S. adults with one or more chronic diseases. No advice on how to reverse these diseases.

Psychedelics used to be so edgy to talk about. Now, federal tax $ is used to study their effects in mice & there are human clinical trials completed & ongoing. People are discussing psilocybin for longevity. MDMA & ibogaine likely to gain FDA approval soon. Things. Have. Changed.

Insane catch from ניסים סופר: The NYT article on Mohammed al-Mutawaaq—which fueled global outrage at Israel—originally quoted his mother saying he was “born healthy," without noting his illness. That line was later quietly deleted—yet wasn't mentioned in the Editor’s Note.

The risk to civilians in Gaza ends the moment the hostages are returned and Hamas surrenders. Over the last nearly two years, we have seen, time and time again, that when Western countries support the objectives of Hamas, Hamas only becomes more intransigent. Britain, Canada,

I don’t see this changing, unfortunately. The truth is, Bill DeWitt Jr. made his bed when he said owning a franchise isn’t as profitable as one might think. Then his son laughed at the fans’ response of not showing up, stating that it would just make them spend less. St. Louis

Masih Alinejad 🏳️ Sick of watching male-dominated governments & international bodies fail to demand an end to criminal acts against women & girls in the Middle East. We saw it Oct 7th, now this woman sentenced to be hang. Where are women's organizations? Too afraid to challenge male power? These

Masih Alinejad 🏳️ They can't twist the story to blame Jews, so the media doesn't care. It's horrific how many humanitarian crises are occurring in the world today, and most of the public has no clue. 😢

Masih Alinejad 🏳️ (((We Will Remember the Silence of Our Friends))) It is truly horrific, a woman faces execution for speaking the truth and the world can only give her silence. Even worse if she was a “Palestinian” who took part in a massacre the world would be marching in her name. There is no humanity antisemitism ate it.

I'm disgusted that feminists in the West ignore the plight of women in Iran, Afghanistan and other countries where women are treated like chattel. Could activists put down their Palestinian flags for a few hours to help with this heart-breaking cause?
