We are all so saddened to hear of the passing of one of Ireland’s finest writers, a “fearless teller of truths”, who made London her home. Her portrait, painted so beautifully by Colin Davidson , hangs proudly in our Embassy, and her work and courage will continue to inspire.
Silent Testimony is a free display of eighteen large portraits by Colin Davidson highlighting the personal stories of those whose lives were impacted and continue to be affected by the Troubles, a 30-year period of conflict in Northern Ireland.
