“Preventing antimicrobial resistance together” #WAAW2022 Our COINCIDE takes part in preventing AMR together by bringing a group of human doctors, veterinarians, anthropologists and DNA researchers to study colistin use/resistance in humans and chickens in #Indonesia .

⚠️RESERVE⚠️ World Health Organization (WHO) just published the AWaRe (Access, Watch, Reserve) antibiotic book to provide evidence-based guidance on optimizing antibiotic use. Colistin (polymyxin E) and Polymyxin B should be reserved exclusively for humans to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
