Homo naledi, an extinct relative of modern humans whose brain was one-third the size of ours, buried their dead and engraved cave walls 250,000 years ago. The findings are overturning long-held theories that only modern humans and Neanderthal could do these complex activities.

Recent work on Tinshemet Cave suggests that modern humans and Neandertals shared much of their material cultures across the key time period before modern people dispersed throughout the world. For me, cultural and biological identities of these hominins blend together.

Finally, I defended my second Masters. Now, I am an Evolutionary Cognitive Archaeologist, or probably a Neuroarchaeologist 🥰 Thanks to my inspired Professor Joe Henrich for his critical evolutionary theory of Gene-Culture Coevolution ✨️
