Did you know 2022 is the 100th year of CofC Student Government Association on @cofc campus? We were founded in 1922 to represent students needs to admin, and I’m proud to say this organization is thriving a 100 years later.

Honored to be quoted in this article about the great work @cofc is doing to make our campus more inclusive and welcoming for all students.

Please read this statement from our Executive Council. I have heard from stressed students, frustrated faculty, and alarmed alumni about this issue and want to assure our campus community that we are working to find an adequate solution. Your concerns are our top priority.

It is imperative that all current students who are interested in on-campus housing for next year submit a Request for Housing form by the deadline of 11:59 p.m. EST today, Feb. 8. To access the form, log into the MyHousing/Dining portal and click the Apply for Housing button.

If you can, I encourage members of our @cofc community to attend Charleston’s show of solidarity with the people of Ukraine at 6:30 pm tonite at Charleston City Hall, which will be illuminated in blue and yellow.

Please read over our Newsletter that just went out to the student body covering what we worked in February. This newsletter initiative will be sent out monthly and continue SGA’s goal on increasing transparency and student engagement.

Join us this Thursday in Stern Gardens from 5-7 for food trucks and the first SGA Soapbox. This is an open forum for students to talk about their ideas, issues, passions, and more.
