A fantastic session with Rhys from Technocamps using LEGO Education to create carts for our 'Forces at the funfair' topic. We learnt about how to use algorithms to code our carts.

Another exciting day in Coed-Y-Lan! Today we met with our partner school in Mbale, Uganda over Teams. The amazing team from Pont have fitted solar panels to the school roof, so they now have electricity and internet connection. We were the first to say hello! Jayne Brencher

We are very proud to have been presented the ‘Edible Playgrounds most Environmental Improved School’ award today. Thank you to Mr David Harris from Bryncynon Strategy for coming to deliver the award and to Eco Committee and Mrs Black for all their hard work.

Today in Coed-Y-Lan we all took part in ‘Purple Up’ to show our support for the month of the military child and to celebrate our service children SSCE Cymru
Today our Nursery and Reception children in Dosbarth Celyn ‘Purpled Up’ and found and painted dandelions to mark the Month of the Military Child and to celebrate our service children SSCE Cymru
Diolch Pontypridd RFC for enabling us to do our PE sessions outside this Summer. The children love developing their PE skills in Sardis Road.
