University of Kashmir, under aegis of CoE for Glacial Studies in Western Himalaya organised 2nd Three-Week Capacity Building Prog in Glaciology from Sept 2-21, supported by DSTIndia to empower participants to unravel complexities of glaciology, glacial-hydrology & climate change

The program consists of a 10-day theoretical prog at University of Kashmir, followed by a subsequent 10-day field training at Machoi Glacier in Drass, Ladakh. 20 doctoral students including 11 female participants are participating in the prog from more than 19 states/institutes.
