Difficulty breathing ≠ automatic albuterol treatment. Just because we call it a ‘breathing treatment’ doesn’t mean it’s meant to correct all breathing issues. Beta agonists aren’t the fix-all. Assess your patient.

Hot take: if you’re a 68W NCO and you aren’t training your joes on medical (non-trauma) scenarios, you’re doing them a disservice. Teach them to think critically. IVs and tourniquet drills are a cheap excuse for training. Do better. Do more.
