An incredible body of reporting by the incredible reporter Gloria Liu. She did dozens of interviews in multiple languages and reviewed Strava files, maps, photos, etc to reconstruct down to the minute what happened exactly on this far away mountain. It's a big lift.

Anyone out there have a ProQuest subscription? I'm trying to pull some testimony from a 1983 subcommittee hearing, and it spans too many pages for the Library of Congress to provide electronically. Help!
