Trip 4 ended with 4311 miles driven and at least 12 tornadoes during an active late June. Some of the best tornado/supercell structure combinations as well. An awesome trip for an outstanding group of people to close out chasing for 2025!

Why do we chase storms? To learn, to teach, and to stay safe. Our chase teams analyze data on severe storms that helps students in aviation, emergency management, and meteorology.

Storm chasing is more than following the radar. College of DuPage teaches its students to independently forecast severe storms and anticipate their evolution.
