I sold some more new crop corn at $5.49 today to get some more on the books, so you all should be guaranteed a nice rally from here. You’re welcome 😅

In all seriousness now, looking at followthrough today and chart structure on CZ23, $5.75 area is now all but a guarantee. Whether we run to $6 from there or fall back to $5.50, will probably be determined based on weather

Per my previous tweet, Corn made it pretty quickly to $5.75. Momentum is in favor for $6 rather than a pullback to $5.50 at this point. In regards to Nov. Soybeans, testing the psychological $13 level right now, but if it clears that, $13.30 comes into play pretty quick.

Though these moves supported by weather, funds, whatever you want to say, the levels i picked out were technical #’s I priced some more ‘23 Corn @ $5.90 & Beans @ $13.25. Long weekend, and weather in play, so where we go from here, i’m not sure yet. (Momentum still points up)

No question we’re behind and we need rain. But, I’m certainly encouraged and surprised with how well the crop is holding up.

Do yourself a favor and buy a $5 bottle of this magic. Spray then wipe with a microfiber towel. Cleans the whole cab in minutes.

Nice to know the risk has paid off here so far! After a great wheat harvest, corn & soybeans are on track to be pretty good as well.

A tale of two crops and my marketing for ‘23 new crop. Started too strong on Soybeans, but scaled nicely on Corn. Using a yield just below APH, i’m about sold out. Crops are looking above average at this point though. Next question: buy bushels back, sell more, or leave alone?

If ‘24 Corn & Soybeans start to unwind and head in opposite directions like ‘23 is currently…when does the conversation about a massive acreage shift next year start?

Things have been pretty boring for me in the markets since this tweet, so looking to shake things up… Cancelled/bought back (whatever term) the worst 4 corn sales at $4.79, so essentially is a wash & didn’t lose or gain anything. Just now have another 20% APH unprotected again.

So is this a cyber Monday sale on grains? Or are we going lower? (Near term pressure is obviously down, but going to keep an eye on some months further out to eventually buy futures and/or options)

There’s a first (and maybe a last) time for everything…a little double crop Soybean action before they get flooded out tomorrow 😅 Probably too far north, and too late in the year, but worth a trial run.
