For the life of me, I cannot understand how “police are mad about protests and defund” so they’ve stopped doing their jobs well and instead are letting people die is continuously put forth as a credible, but more than that moral excuse for homicide rates.

Forget the path, just do it. Even $15/hr won't be enough by the time we reach it.
