First job this morning was to meet a contractor to sort portable appliance testing then checking staff welfare with a couple of the team who have had a difficult number of incidents in recent weeks. #TRiM #coastguard

Meeting with the recruitment team done! Watch out for the advert on 6th October for Senior Coastal Operations Officer to join the team here in the South East.

And just like that it's home time! An afternoon of admin, catching up with weekend activities and ordering replacement stores. Meanwhile the teams from Newhaven, Selsey and Folkestone have all been out to various incidents this afternoon. Thanks to the volunteers who responded.

Well here we go for day 2, this morning tye weather has improved and I'm of to Deal Coastguard Station for their Operational Management Inspection. Which probably means an afternoon of chasing contractors for incomple work!
