At Alton Towers today and once again most rides are down and we’ve been told it’s due to technical reasons, not the wind. It’s getting beyond a joke, things should be working this far into the season!

Hi Alton Towers Resort, any chance of extended opening today because of all the ride closures this morning?

I didn’t think we could’ve had a worse visit than last week but it’s happened! Such a terrible day. Alton Towers Resort are miles off of being a world class theme park, it’s abysmal!

An update to anyone who saw my tweets about Alton Towers yesterday. They did actually offer some compensation! They have free tickets to the group members who weren’t Merlin annual pass holders, and me and my partner (MAP holders) free fast track.

Great day at Thorpe Park Official despite the weather, still managed all coasters, a couple re-rides, Mardi Gras entertainment and other bits and bobs in between. Without a doubt, is currently the best Theme/Amusement park in the UK with great operations. Others should take note!

At Adventure Island in Southend today for a first time visit. It’s a busy one! Hoping Rage stays open in the wind🤞.

Final day of this mini trip and we’re at LEGOLAND Windsor to ride Minifigure Speedway. It was actually a very good ride and is a great addition!

Great day at Alton Towers Resort today! Best day this season with great ride availability (except Spinball). Very happy to say the home park was feeling back to its peak!

I’m looking at writing my engineering dissertation in a theme park related topic. Does anyone have any ideas/ prompts about the limitations of the industry which I could research?

Just had a great day at Land of Legends in Antalya and it is a great park. May be an unpopular opinion but Hyper Coaster could be better than Hyperia! The park costs a lot to enter and has no refillable water so it costs a lot but it’s very well themed with top quality rides!

At Drayton Manor today and it’s been a poor day for ride availability with multiple rides not opening including Gold Rush and the River Rapids. If people are visiting for Gold Rush I’d rearrange as they’ve put up a fence in the entrance!

Anyone help with Florida holiday booking? am I forgetting anything? I have villa, theme park tickets, flights and car? It’s almost 500 pp cheaper than holiday companies were selling as a package so it feels like I’m missing something? #Florida #Disney #Orlando
