🌲 Last week our New Germany Trailblazers made bird feeders! 🐦 A quick & exciting activity to learn more about what birds eat. To make a bird feeder at home, all you need is a toilet paper roll, nut or seed butter, & birdseed!

🌾When selecting plants for the #LivingShoreline, we made sure the plants were adapted to live on the coast. Thank you to CBWES & TransCoastal Adaptations for their expertise. This project is supported by Intact Insurance Foundation, Arbor Day Foundation, and TD (Canada).

📚 Our Environmental Education team recognizes that not all education takes place in the classroom and we celebrate education by providing opportunities for children to appreciate the values of nature. What better way to learn about the environment than to experience it? 🏕
