Feels like yesterday he was yelling at me for being an idiot freshman. Feels like yesterday he was turning me into a coach. Feels like yesterday he was visiting me to watch spring training. Can’t believe he’s been gone four years now. Always trying to make you proud, Moose…

Toms River South would like a word… 330 to RFL. 185 to RCF. How Todd Frazier doesn’t have the New Jersey state HR record from playing his home games at this field is beyond me.

Annual tweet of pictures of my father that probably explains a lot about me… and I wouldn’t have it any other way! To the man I learned nothing about when it comes to fashion, facial hair, and gym etiquette, Happy Father’s Day, Big Al!

Collect moments, not things… but if you’re going to collect things, they might as well be championship rings. Congratulations to my Greenville Drive brethren on an amazing season. There is no better out in baseball than the final out:

Sometimes the best work of a coaching staff is found in a team’s worst seasons. When winning is hard. Don’t ever take winning for granted. I’m glad this National Champion coach doesn’t.

Seeing this news brought me right back to the passing of my coach from college and how his death made me realize how much he taught me and countless others about life. I was as fortunate to have had Fred Hill as a coach as so many Seminoles were to have had Mike Martin. RIP, 11.
