Been watching Team USA 19U in Hungary. Me likey Trey Johnson and Asa Newell. A lot. High school rising seniors who would be top 10 picks coming out of high school next year if allowed. Enjoyed watching Spain this weekend too. Hope they battle for gold.

I heard many hours ago that the Rox were getting FVV, Lopez, and D Brooks. FVV already getting more than what I heard he was going to get. Let's see what happens now.

Just to be clear, I've written very positive words about Victor. Best teenaged prospect ever. But to think he can help anchor a title team is delusional and unfair to him.

Ranked all the best young cores in the league on Truehoop.com this week. Had Spurs #1 on list, failed to include 22 yr old Julian Champagnie, a mistake. Did mention Dom Barlow, 24&11 with 3 blks & 2 stls last night(23 mins). He's 5 months younger than Brandon Miller.

Will unload a # of VSL notes later. Here's the prism I'm looking through: How competitive are they? How interested are they in playing "we ball"? How agile are their minds? What do they do to help win important games? When can they be a + player(a shooter and/or defender)?

I've seen all I can stand I can't stand it no more. Why do ESPN TV directors hate real basketball fans? Why do we constantly have to watch split screens of the game on one side and a man sitting down being interviewed on the other? What in hell is that about? Moronic.

Enjoying Quarterback on Netflix. Partially because I know nothing about the NFL, so every scene is new to me. I'm wondering if they will do something w the NBA, and if so, what position will they choose? I hope they do and choose center, it's the toughest position to excel in.

Please don't assume headlines and tweets from others accurately define what's in an article. In no way did I place full blame on any one person or position in Toronto. Enjoy the weekend. Stay safe out west!

.Ryan Pannone showed me film for an hour. Nate Oats talked numbers on his laptop while eating a salad. Adam Bauman sat on a couch, discussing data-driven decisions. I got a masterclass in offense, and how Alabama built the best in program history: tuscaloosanews.com/story/sports/c…

Quickest way to get college Presidents to vote in a salary cap for NIL required someone flaunting the lack one. About to change w whomever UK hires.

Say what you want about Boston when they are champs, but know this--no other NBA team would be 15-2 with the schedule they played, minus their starting center for most of those games. They could end up 80-20, the defending champs are 64-30. Total domination by the Celtics.
