USC Sumter wins in walk off fashion against Potomac State, 4-3 in nine innings. Da da Sumpter drove in Noah Fuchs with a bases loaded one out single to left center to give Spencer Sarvis his first collegiate win in relief. The Fire Ants are now 3-6 on the year.

USC Sumter ends the weekend with a 6-4 win over Walters State on a beautiful Sunday afternoon at Riley Park. The Fire Ants scored six times in the fourth and starter Brendan Mullins and relievers Spencer Sarvis and Chandler Sox combined for the win.

Back to back one hitters for Fire Ant pitchers although last nights resulted in a 3-2 loss. Sixteen consecutive innings without allowing an earned run.

Zero support from me. This would be devastating to high school baseball in our state which has already lost a season.

USC SUMTER split a DH today with Bryant and Stratton. B and S won game 1 by a score of 7-2. The Fire Ants won game 2 by a 3-1 margin. In game 2 Spencer Sarvis pitched a complete game two hitter throwing just 79 pitches. The same two squads will square off tomorrow at noon.

I got to know Coach Cribb back when he was at Marion. He was a class act both on and off the field. The SC Baseball Coaches lost a great individual that has made a huge impact on many lives. Love and prayers to the Cribb Family.
