6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.

We are to humble ourselves before God by practicing love for one another. Lord Jesus thank you for your word and loving us. Help us grow closer to you daily.
14 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 15 But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do;
~ 1 Peter 1:14-15
Lord we thank you for your word.
Please continue to guide us and protect us from evil. Amen
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We must resist the devil and the evil ways of the world. Resistance requires us to actively pull away. Our relationship with Jesus gives us strength to fight the good fight.
15 Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Studying scripture is critical!
6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
~ Hebrews 11:6
God wants us to have faith but the key words here are “he rewards those that earnestly seek him”.
15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
~ 2 Timothy 2:15
Paul writes a letter telling Timothy (but goes for all of us) to be diligent in studying and handling God's Word.
9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
~ Philippians 4:9
Studying Gods Word (Bible) gives us knowledge. His peace will guard our hearts and minds as we put Scripture into action. Amen

To obey we must first study and learn. Lord we thank you for the truth of your word. We know eternal life is only available if we accept you Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. Amen

Jesus instructs the disciples, they take action and are blessed. The Bible is our instructions!

The answer obviously is no but what we do by worrying is waste time. We either trust in God and His plan or we don’t. We can’t focus on what’s in front if we are always looking back. Trust God!

Many are failing to be “One Nation Under God” and “The United States”.

How can I be sure? Learn and be obedient to God’s commands. This aligns the Holy Spirit to our conscience. Trust!

Jesus speaks to His disciples right after he calmed the sea and storm with His command. Having a relationship with Jesus and studying His word removes fear and gives us hope.
