Elon Musk Ashlee Vance Matt Taibbi Joe Rogan As an indie publisher since 2002 I would estimate that Twitter has sent less than 1% of our traffic. Facebook and Pinterest would far exceed it. We promote to Facebook and Twitter equally and FB would drive 10x traffic.

@marham50 Sarah Crump Reminds me of Michelle McNamara: She hated the phrase “everything happens for a reason.” She would say, “It's all chaos,it's all random, and it's horrifying. And if you want to try and reduce the horror, and reduce the chaos, be kind. That's all you can do. It's chaos. Be kind."

Real talk… No one, absolutely no one else can want it badly enough for you. Inspiration is as temporary as a shower in Florida in the middle of August. It’s determination and discipline that will take you where motivation alone can not.

I’ve read this book and it’s incredible. So much so that it stands to be the go-to guide for health and longevity. (Note: I am not a paid endorser; it’s simply terrific).

Hi folks, I’m afraid it’s time for me to say goodbye. Not just leaving Twitter, but the whole show. I’ve been battling cancer last 2 years, but now only have a few days left now. Thank you wonderful people, I leave this crazy world with much love in my heart ❤️

January 1 needn’t be “just another day”. Our brain can segment time in many ways. Only some are constrained by biology. Designating a calendar date as a starting place to achieve behavioral and/or psychological change is entirely legitimate. If you want a change, set it & get it.

8. Chase greatness, not numbers Greatness in service. Greatness in storytelling. Greatness in quality. Greatness in relationships. Greatness in analyzing data (okay, that's sort of number-ish, but it's so you can do all of the above better) Let the numbers be the result of ^

This is a MUST listen for anyone interested in the human mind. Dr Conti is one of the great thinkers and among the greatest psychiatrists alive (or dead). Thank you Lex Fridman for leading such an extraordinary conversation!

Their success meant market validation. Their success meant I was onto something. Their success meant inspiration. Their success meant I could potentially find my own way, too.

Sunday night, thinking about the week ahead. Tiffany Lee Bymaster taught me to have a focused 30 mins to plan the week. When I sat back & realised what I'm trying to cram into 1 week I remembered Tiffany also said I get to choose my focus & where my energy goes. I need to choose wisely.
