She won the long jump, won the triple jump, and finished second in the 60m hurdles with a new school record time - Aliyah's 28 points led our women's team to a third place finish, their highest conference team finish since 2007!

Great outdoor season opener for Stephanie Purple Brokaw ! Tactical race but closed in a 66.25 against a really talented field. A LOT more in the tank too!

Great group of assistant coaches and student-athletes! Women third, men fifth out of 11 teams in the OVC.

Aliyah Adams! Won the triple jump (12.97 / 42' 6.75"), finished second in the long jump (6.03 / 19' 9.5"), finished third in the 100 hurdles (13.99), and ran a leg on our fourth place finishing 4x4 relay. What a meet!

Conference champions all over! Arnie set the conference record in the men's pole vault as well.. 5.24 (17' 2.25")! Happy to see Jazzy go out with a win in the hammer throw as a senior. Her previous best at the conference meet was an 8th place finish.

Aylana (SO) and Logan (SR) sweeping the steeplechase was another highlight from the weekend. Logan nearly broke the conference record running 8:59.73. He tripled this weekend, also placing 4th in the 5k and 5th in the 1500. Aylana had a great double too, finishing 6th in the 1500

Arnie has a strong work ethic, great attitude, and incredible God given talent. I'm not surprised he qualified for the NCAA Track & Field Championships as a sophomore As a junior at Lincoln Way East High School he jumped 3.95 (12-11.5); three years later he's now at 5.42 (17-9.25)!

One week out from the NCAA Championships and Arnie is READY! I think. After this great jump where the bungee is set at 5.50 meters (18ish feet), Arnie says, "did I make it, or did I go under it.." 🤣
