The school will be closed tomorrow, (Mon 11 Dec) as we cannot guarantee that school buses will access all the villages. There is also a question mark over the school site being safe. Please check emails & our social media, but we are assuming that school will re-open on Tuesday.

Delighted to welcome superb debating team from Chipping Norton ChippingNortonSchool to UK Parliament today for a tour. They won my first West Ox Schools Debating Competition - well done & welcome to Rachael, Melissa, Georgia, Alicia, Hettie & Luke - and well done for battling thro’ snow!

Due to the deteriorating weather we are closing the school today, Thurs 1 March from 1140am. Buses will come at this time. Students will leave only if they can safely get home or be collected. Students who are not able to leave at this time will remain in school.

With an amber weather warning for continued snow & sub-zero temperatures, CNS will be closed tomorrow, Friday 2 March. Conditions are deteriorating & very treacherous. This decision has been taken to ensure the safety of staff & students. School will open as usual on Mon 5 March.

School will be open on Mon 5 March. There is a significant amount of drifted snow in places but paths are accessible but the snow is thawing. Please can students wear sensible footwear for the next couple of days. Also be reminded not to throw snowballs anywhere near the school.
