Last week in Art, we sketched one of the trees on the playground. This week we used different techniques to paint our trees using our fingers as brushes.

Today in Science we looked back at the radishes we planted at the start of term to see how they got on. The roots hadn’t quite swollen but the children enjoyed exploring what had happened. Castle Newnham #science #plants

It really is the highlight of my week hearing Castle Newnham Year 2 Badgers read to me. I’m such a sap, they gave me a big thank you and I welled up. Thank you Castle Newnham for letting me come in. Here’s to the next year and a rest for all the amazing staff.
