Proud that the last of my PhD work is finally out, with co-first author Natalie Steinemann. And check out the great insight article from Bharath Talluri and Hendrikje Nienborg: tinyurl.com/57aeuawm. Below I highlight two findings of the paper that I think are particularly noteworthy.

In this TINS review we (w/cvnlab, eli merriam, & Eline Kupers) argue that *intensive* (many hours of data) fMRI of single individuals for single-voxel model fitting is a paradigm shift for cognitive/computational neuroimaging. tinyurl.com/intensivefmri 1/2

Excited to share our latest preprint on scaling laws in primate vision modeling! We trained and analyzed 600+ neural networks to understand how bigger models & more data affect brain predictivity. Paper: arxiv.org/abs/2411.05712… By me & Martin Schrimpf @ICLR2025 at EPFL EPFL Computer and Communication Sciences

Super pumped to announce that our new work “Face cells encode objects parts more than facial configuration of illusory faces” with Kasper Vinken, Akshay Jagadeesh and Marge Livingstone is now out in Nature Communications! doi.org/10.1038/s41467…

I am thrilled to share my postdoc work from the Soohyun Lee Lab, nature.com/articles/s4158…. Huge thanks to the awesome PI Soohyun Lee and collaborators Yuan Zhao, Ka Chun Lam, Francisco Pereira, and Charles R Gerfen.

Excited that our work is out together with the amazing CoenCagli_Lab and Adam Kohn! We demonstrate how neural co-variability in the visual cortex encodes uncertainty about natural scenes and is adaptively modulated by spatial context! (1/7) Paper link: bit.ly/3IXiU9M
