We had an amazing morning simulating flood control with a civil engineer (father of one of our students). The Hollis + Miller Architects Learnscape was a perfect place to run some tests, and see real life applications from our LEGO Education WeDo kits in action! @SunflowerSMSD

To wrap up our invention unit, budding roboticists in fourth grade studied modern bionic technology for inspiration on their own prosthetic arms. Today, they are hard at work developing prototypes. @SunflowerSMSD LEGO Education Open Bionics
4th graders @SunflowerSMSD learned about the engineering process with prosthetic specialist, Whitney Tapp from the Hanger Clinic Hanger Clinic. She fused her interest in art and anatomy into a STEAM career dedicated to helping others.
