The Wangenheim Joint-Use Park project in #MiraMesa is coming together nicely! ✨ Crews are painting the park's comfort station, installing permanent fencing and finishing up irrigation and landscaping items. The park is expected to reopen to the public later this year.

🛶 Grab your kayaks and canoes—the Miramar Reservoir will reopen to on-water recreation this Saturday, July 6! Following the successful installation of the underwater pipeline as part of Pure Water San Diego, boats, canoes, kayaks and float tubes will be welcome once again.

After years of community input and an afternoon full of eager youths speaking at council, we unanimously approved a lease with the SanDiegoCounty to revitalize the Mira Mesa Epicentre! Final approval will take place at the County Board of Supervisors meeting on July 17.

Excited to see our partnership with the City to revitalize the Mira Mesa Epicentre into a great place for youth and families. Thank you Councilmember Kent Lee for your leadership. Next week, the County will finish the job by voting on the agreement with the City.
