Well that was a fun day of DIAS Dunsink Observatory on tour Allen National School talking to Juniors, Seniors, 1st and 2nd class about space with the amazing Sadhbh Leahy. Wrestling our props off the naughty elf was the toughest part!

A spacecraft in flight changes the space about it. A new DIAS Dunsink Observatory study shows that @ESA's Jupiter mission ESA's Juice mission has incurred extensive surface charging, a surrounding cloud of photoelectrons & a 65-m-long wake of ion-free space behind the spacecraft

The second meeting of the National Advisory Forum for Space Research took place this week at Maynooth University, during Irish Astronomy Week! The Forum brings together a broad range of stakeholders and expertise to discuss what’s next for Space R&I in Ireland.
