📖 Happy world book day! 📕 Today we gave children books with a personalised message to them from their teachers. The gift of reading lasts a lifetime ❤️

Great work from students Cottenham VC on identity. Enjoyed listening to students explain how important their names were to them and how we show respect by learning the names of others (and pronouncing them properly!). Love seeing such thoughtful and considered work in PD!

Had a little chat with someone about PSHE & it turned into this! Our PSHE is responsive but not run by the latest media crisis. We focus on high quality sequencing, resourcing and research 💪🏻 And thankfully I have a great team to support me in delivering this across our trust 👌🏻

At Longsands Academy this week and saw tutor resources focused on pride. Loved a Y7 comment saying they were proud of their achievements in maths. Apparently, they used to hate it but now were now ‘quite good at it’ 🤓 Great to speak to scholars and staff 👍🏻😎

Astrea Academy Woodfields is changing thanks to Astrea Academy Trust investment in Doncaster. A once derelict building is being renovated and reopened so children get bigger, brighter and better classrooms. And a pretty banging neon sign from Neon Filter.
