According to our Chief Medical Officer of Health, the next few days are critical as families return home to Canada. I can’t stress this enough: please stay home and practice social distancing. Our success as a province in containing #COVID19 depends on all of us doing our part.

Today we welcomed back some of our year 2 kindergarten students. We talked about the safe way to wear a mask at school and in the community. Ms. Lonjak has been making mask clips with our new friends. Thank you for the kind gift to us all. ❤️

Today I learned... just slow down. Scrap what is not working. Celebrate what is. Lean in. Rip out 3 pages of day plans and start again. Let the kids set the pace and the environment for learning. Today outdoor learning and play was amazing.

I helped my Mama shop on line. She is about to turn 82. She made out her wish list for others in her beautiful penmanship. ‘We are doing it different.’ Her response... ‘I love you. Do they have free shipping?’ My reply... ‘Yes... they have free shipping. You raised me right.’ ❤️
