On Monday, we were honored to host a pre-conference reception for #WiPDA2023 that included poster exhibitions from our OUTSTANDING #CLTEPIC and #CLTEngineering researchers and students, as well as tours of our world-class research and development facilities. #EnergyEngineering

From projects in clean energy to advanced research in alternative sensor technologies with wireless capabilities, the energy industry was WELL-REPRESENTED at last week's Senior Design Expo. And to top it off, the winning presentation for Senior Design 1 was an energy project!

Excited to see two 2024 Collegiate Wind Competition students, Melissa and Cody, shine at IPF 2024 in New Orleans! They presented their "Hybrid Offshore Wind Farm on Lake Michigan" project to global leaders in offshore wind energy. Congrats on the achievement! ⭐️

It's rewarding to balance the technical with the creative! We took our KIT exchange students from Germany on a break to explore Charlotte. They cracked King Tut's Curse at an escape room and visited the NASCAR Hall of Fame—just a taste of what the city offers!
