Downtown Chicago with #ASCO23 in town. Is this the only time you hear “DNA sequencing talk” in every restaurant, bar and street corner?

My #owncup is feeling lonely at #ASCO2023. I know #reuse isn’t the theme of this conference but so easy to pack your #owncup for #asco2024!

Practice changing results from AIIMS, New Delhi. Topical diclofenac reduces grade 2 + Capecitabine induced HFS. Interesting that lower HFS was seen in placebo group too. Only 15% compared to 30%. #livingwithandbeyondcancer. Something to implement Birmingham Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit University Hospitals Birmingham ?

Reminder to test for #dpyd low function/no function alleles when treating with 5FU based treatment during this mornings Genomic symposium at #of2023. The need to add additional variants to panels to continue to improve safety was also highlighted!

Really shocked and saddened to hear that the #NCRI is being wound down. I personally have benefitted from the networking opportunities created by the NCRI and always admired all that they did to support cancer research in the UK. What now??? ncri.org.uk/ncri-is-windin…
