Labour remains the best vehicle for socialism in Britain. Another left-wing party would split the vote further and risk helping Nigel Farage into Downing Street.

MPs will this week vote on a £2 BILLION cut to disability benefits. 750,000 people will lose £3,000 a year. This includes people who can’t use their hands, need help to eat or drink and have debilitating incontinence. My Amendment would stop this cut. Ask your MP to back it.

This is nonsense. The impact assessment starts from an imaginary baseline incorporating reforms planned but never implemented by the previous government In the real world, the cuts remaining in the Bill will push around 50,000 disabled people into poverty theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

This Wednesday, MPs will again vote on the disability benefits Bill. A huge £2 BILLION cut to disability support is still in the Bill. 750,000 low income sick and disabled people will lose £3,000 a year. My new article on why MPs must vote this down. labourlist.org/2025/07/news-l…

Why the rush to strip support from those too unwell to work, without understanding the consequences? Let’s stop these Universal Credit cuts and build a system with - rather than dictated to - disabled people. I'm supporting this amendment to stop the £2bn cuts. #WelfareBill

🚨The UN has written to the government about disability cuts in the UC and PIP Bill 🚨 It says it "has received credible information" indicating that the Bill will "deepen the signs of regression" on disabled people's rights in the UK. The Bill must not proceed.

Halving the UC Health Element means slashing £3,000 a year from over 700,000 sick and disabled people — a £2bn cut that hits those already struggling. It’s wrong to balance the books this way. We need real consultation and a fairer plan that puts people first.

Key point in Dan’s brilliant take down of fantasies of left on tax. Equivalent fantasy on right is huge painless spending cuts. We can have bigger state and more tax on average earners. We can have smaller state and real cuts in public services/benefits. Thats it. The choice

I voted against the UC&PIP Bill. It's now due back for next stage in Parliament. My next Amendment 👇would safeguard those with fluctuating conditions, or a recurrence of a condition from being placed onto a lower rate of universal credit #York #UC #PIP
