Tangible advancement on these much needed schemes for Aylesbury. More still to do and some engineering challenges to meet (not least the “bridge lift” over the railway in the winter), but such a positive investment being delivered by Buckinghamshire Council

In West Northamptonshire, Reform campaigned on the platform for change. 5️⃣0️⃣ days on from winning the election, Reform has no corporate plan and no local manifesto to present to the local people. AND this week adopted the existing plan from the previous Conservative

This post is utterly desperate. Of course jobs have been created - I mean how thick do Labour think people are? But the stat that matters is whether more of the working population are out of work - that’s up to 4.6%. Plus in April alone 109k fewer people were on payroll.

This is an utter capitulation. Labour's welfare bill is now a TOTAL waste of time. It effectively saves £0, helps no one into work, and does NOT control spending. It’s pointless. They should bin it, do their homework, and come back with something serious. Starmer cannot govern.

After the farcical scenes yesterday, reality dawns for the government. Keir Starmer’s u-turns and capitulations have blown an enormous hole in the public finances. And who is going to pay for this rank incompetence? Labour’s magazine of choice makes it clear: all of us.

Patrols of Bottrells Lane and the wooded areas were carried out today including on foot as part of ASB awareness week. The patrols were to deter Anti Social incidents and suspicious behaviour #C9436 #asbawarenessweek

My left-leaning, champagne-socialist friends were so excited at the prospect of a Labour government last year. “Of course we want you to win Kemi” they told me, “but after 14 years, it’s time for change”. Well they got that change and they are absolutely aghast at what's

So if Rachel Reeves thought a 0.1% contraction of the economy was grounds for an emergency budget for a Tory Chancellor, presumably we can expect her to bring one to the House on Monday?

Rarely do I bother commenting on Labour groupie tweets, but I mean seriously. Not only is the core point arguable, what does this guy think will happen when the private sector collapses and can no longer fund ‘public investment’? They are completely detached from economic reality
