Pope Francis spent his final Easter yesterday bearing witness to the faith he devoted his life to — a quiet presence at a time when the world needed humility, courage, and conviction. His death on Easter Monday feels especially poignant. He reminded us that leadership isn’t

Happy SECOND St George’s Day everyone! For some reason everyone thought the CofE transferring the liturgical observance was “woke”, but it just means we get TWO St George’s Days instead of one. Glorious. St George pray for us and pray for England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Sky News contributors blaming Britain and the Partition of India for the ongoing clash is nonsensical at this point. We are closing in on a century since independence. India and Pakistan are developed economies with their own modern realities. They have agency.

Nemo Salus Whatever the deal’s flaws (and Hannan makes a good argument that they’re overstated), as Leavers we do need to get a bit better at not automatically assuming the worst about everything. It’s no wonder lots of people don’t think Brexit has gone well when its biggest supporters

Now to the really nasty stuff. Dynamic alignment on energy policy, the UK joins the EU's energy market, overseen by the ECJ. Why is this remotely necessary? Why should we join the electricity market which just witnessed a three-country blackout? What problem does this solve?

An excellent article and something that should deeply concern all of us. People with a learning disability deserve more protection from the law, not less.

People always say this like it’s some kind of gotcha but… yeah, deals like the one Keir just made that continue the status quo are obviously going to keep our fishing industry diminished. Don’t people think it’s a bit odd that one of the largest islands in the world doesn’t

The UK birth rate is now so low that every 100 people alive today will have just 49 grandchildren between them, leaving us with enormous shortages and major austerity. The idea that the State should be discouraging anyone from having children is absurd. 2/2

This ad is just a bit embarrassing tbh. The UK fertility rate is 1.44 per woman, and not getting to 2.1 anytime soon. Maybe re-run an ad like this far in the future if we ever have an *actual* problem with people having to many kids… rather than when we have the exact opposite

These are the harrowing stories of rape gang survivors. The victims of these appalling crimes still don’t have justice. Those who let it happen need prosecution. Soon every MP will face a choice: back a full statutory inquiry, or bury the truth to protect those who looked away.

What’s even the point being made here? Most people, even if they’re not literally the Shadow Justice Secretary, care quite a lot that petty crime just gets completely ignored in our capital city.

My generation probably won’t see our State Pensions. So sure, nick our private pension savings as well, why not! At least at age 90, still getting up early for work, I’ll be comforted that I’m helping us afford our regular payments to Mauritius 🙄

I know this is just rage bait, but is there anyone who seriously thinks ‘the version of me 10/20 years ago would be making a wiser & more informed vote than I would right now’? If not, then why give your vote to someone much younger than you instead of just voting yourself!

I've never seen an episode, but every supposedly 'brilliant' clip I see is just a liberal's fantasy shower argument where they EPICALLY DESTROY le stupid conservative.
