It was five years ago today that the Tories promised to scrap ‘no-fault’ section 21 evictions.

Now the government is proposing to amend its own Renters Reform Bill to further delay the implementation of the ban.

Labour will abolish section 21 immediately. No ifs, no buts.

Today I received a reply to this, not from Hunt but from an Oxfordshire MP & junior minister.

It is a disgrace that profiteering from companies like Centrica is still allowed to go unchecked. Unite is calling for a return to public ownership of our energy infrastructure so that we can bring down customers’ bills and supply British industry with cheaper energy.
