It was nice to finally see the sun at Carsington this morning. Pink-footed Geese were on the move east, with 5 skeins totalling 460 birds. Derbyshire Ornithological Society (DOS)


Another day of Pink-footed Geese at Carsington with 6 skeins (c370 birds) flying east 0935-1005hrs. Little else of note: Drake Shoveler, 50 Lapwing, 4 Sparrowhawk, 6 Red Kite, 90 Fieldfare, 10 Stock Dove, c10 Meadow Pipit. Derbyshire Ornithological Society (DOS)



At least 6 (likely 8) Hawfinch at Cromford this morning. Also 2 Dipper on the river, 9+ Greenfinch, 15 Siskin, 3 Stock Dove. Derbyshire Ornithological Society (DOS)
