An exciting week for Clean Energy! The NJ Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) unanimously approved two awards in its third solicitation for 3,742 MW of offshore wind capacity. The Leading Light Wind project is expected to generate up to 2,400MW. The Attentive Energy Two project is expected to provide 1342MW.

Thanks to the hard work of NJ Office of Climate Action and the Green Economy, NJ Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU), New Jersey EDA, & New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, offshore wind projects will bring an estimated $6.8b to New Jersey’s economy and move us towards our goal of 100% clean energy by 2035. nj.gov/governor/news/…
