Our team braved the heat wave yesterday during the Agriculture Rescue and Safety Training hosted in St. Matthews. Personnel from multiple departments received training on how to rescue an entrapped victim, proper hazardous tree assessments, and an overview of grain bins.

This week, the Grain Entrapment Simulator hosted trainings at S. Spartanburg FD. Personnel from the department received training on how to rescue an entrapped victim from grain and other bulk media. While the area does not have much agriculture, industry has lots of bulk storage.
