I.e., do you want to be wheezing up the stairs when you're in your 70s, unable to walk very far, etc; or do you want to be able to walk the dog, play with your grandkids, etc etc, way into your 90s? This is the trade off, not 'an extra 5 years'.

Rob Blackie 🔶 Mums For Lungs It’s thanks to Mums For Lungs that so much of my work on the London Assembly has been on woodburning. This is why we featured it in the manifesto. I hope we can continue our work together with a bigger team of London Liberal Democrats in City Hall.

Carol Vorderman In many ways though I rather suspect the self-publicist might have done this on purpose knowing it would be bound to generate media interest in himself.

People seem to believe that their smoke isn't a problem because they have an approved stove, use dry wood and get their chimney swept. Letter back from neighbours today. Apparently it must be everyone else but them yet smoke clearly visible blowing our way 🤔

In 3 yrs this installation at a Arkansas high school turned the district budget from a $250K deficit to a $1.8 million surplus. They're using the surplus to pay teachers more.

We have the solutions. Implement them.

Totally unacceptable that nobody from Environmental Health or Environment Agency has been out to test what families have been breathing in for 7 days now in this English village Buckinghamshire Council. If the fire service couldn't put it out, that's some nasty stuff burning.

I can confirm Bournemouth has some serious wood-burning issues it is not dealing with. Surely this should be a slam dunk for public health and climate?!
